Mr. Thomas D. Kivell was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 1976. He
received his B.A. degree from Michigan State University in 1970 and J.D. degree from the
University of Tulsa College of Law in 1975. Mr. Kivell was previously associated with the
Tulsa firm of Blackstock, Joyce, Pollard, Blackstock and Montgomery. He is an active
member of the real estate, banking, savings and loan and business sections of the Oklahoma
and American Bar Associations, and is a licensed title insurance attorney and agent for
Stewart Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company. In
conjunction with his law practice, Mr. Kivell also owns FirsTitle and Abstract Services,
Inc., a totally automated and independent Oklahoma title and closing services company
which is physically adjacent to this law firm and which provides a full range of closing,
abstract and escrow services to numerous national lenders on both residential and
commercial matters. Mr. Kivell is also the owner of Smith Brothers Abstract and Title
Company which is a licensed and bonded abstract company in and for Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
Mr. Kivell's primary responsibilities are commercial real estate transactions, residential
and commercial foreclosure work, corporate transactional work, and mortgage banking
matters. |
Mr. Brian J. Rayment was
admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 1982. He received his B.A. degree from
Oklahoma State University in 1979 and his J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa in
1982. Mr. Rayment was President of the Student Bar Association and has been admitted to
appear in Federal Courts in the Northern, Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, and
the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also appeared specially in Federal Courts in the
Northern District of Illinois, the District of Colorado, the Central District of
California, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. Mr. Rayment is a member of
the Tulsa County and American Bar Associations. His primary responsibilities are all
commercial transactions and commercial litigation, including bankruptcy matters, both
creditor and debtor. |
Mr. Joe B. Francis was
admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1982 and the New Mexico Bar in 1989. He was previously a
trust administrator with Bank of Oklahoma, Tulsa, and later became a partner in the Tulsa
law firm of Blackstock, Joyce, Pollard and Montgomery. Prior to joining Kivell, Rayment
and Francis, Mr. Francis was a shareholder in the New Mexico law firm of Sutin, Thayer
& Browne. Mr. Francis holds a B.S. (Business Administration) from Oklahoma State
University and a J.D. from the University of Tulsa. He practices primarily in the areas of
real estate transactions, contested foreclosure litigation, business planning, probate and
trust administration, and commercial litigation. He has also served as President of the
Tulsa County 4-H Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors of the Little Lighthouse
in Tulsa. |
Ms. Karen M. Funk received
her B.A. from Texas Christian University in 1968 and is a 1975 graduate of the University
of Tulsa College of Law. Ms. Funk is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the
California Bar Association (inactive). She has been admitted to appear in the Federal
Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. Her association with the firm began in April
of 1990. Her primary responsibilities with the firm consist of foreclosures, title
examination and other litigation matters. |
Mr. Jeffrey D. Lower was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar
Association in 1986. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Tulsa in 1983 and
his J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa in 1986. Mr. Lower has been admitted to
practice in Federal Court in the Northern, Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma.
Prior to joining the firm of Kivell, Rayment and Francis, Mr. Lower was a partner in the
firm of Lower & Tolson, P.C., and emphasized his practice in the area of real estate.
Mr. Lower is a member of the Tulsa County and Oklahoma Bar Associations and the Tulsa
Title and Probate Lawyers Association, and he is a member of the OBA Title Examination
Standards Committee. He practices primarily in the areas of title examinations and real
estate transactions. |
Mr. Jason L. Howell, received
his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in May,
2001. Mr. Howell received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma
State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1998. Jason joined the
firm in January, 2002. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar
Association. His primary responsibilities with Kivell, Rayment
and Francis consists of general foreclosure work. |
Ms. Amy E.
Collins received her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College
of Law in May 1998. Ms. Collins received her undergraduate degree
in Psychology from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon in
December 1994. Amy joined the firm in October 2002. She is a
member of the Oklahoma Bar Association. Her primary
responsibilities with Kivell, Rayment and Francis consist of
general foreclosure work. |
Ms. Teddi Lewis Allen received her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in May, 1990. Ms. Allen received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa in May, 1987. Teddi joined the firm in November, 2002. She is a member of the Oklahoma and Tulsa County Bar Associations. Her primary responsibilities with Kivell, Rayment and Francis are in real estate and title work.

Mr. Michael W. McCoy received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in May, 1995. Mr. McCoy received his Undergraduate degree from Oral Roberts University in May of 1988. Michael joined the firm in February 2004. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association. His primary responsibilities with Kivell, Rayment and Francis consist of bankruptcy work.

Mr. A. Grant Schwabe received his B.A. from the University of Oklahoma in 2000 and is a 2004 graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law. While at the University of Tulsa, Mr. Schwabe was the Vice- President of the American Bar Association Law Student Division and received the American Jurisprudence Award in Oil and Gas law in 2003. Mr. Schwabe is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, in addition, he is an active member of the litigation, banking, business and corporate sections of the Oklahoma and American Bar Associations. He has been admitted to appear in the Federal Court for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma. Mr. Schwabe's practice is concentrated in business litigation, including contested foreclosure, commercial law, and mortgage banking matters.

Ms. Susan M. Williams received her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma in 1990 and is a 1995 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Ms. Williams is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. She has been admitted to appear in the Federal Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma. Her association with the firm began in July of 2005. Her primary responsibilities with the firm consist of foreclosures, title examination and other litigation matters.
